Seven villas at Kogatende in the northern Serengeti, about thirty minutes from the airstrip and close to the Mara River — positioned for the migration river crossings rather than for a general tour of the park.
One Nature Mara River stands at Kogatende in the dramatic northern Serengeti, within reach of the Mara where the herds cross. Six one-bedroom villas and a two-bedroom villa are en suite and generously fitted: showers inside and out, a copper tub, a bar of your own, a stove for the cold hours and air-conditioning drawn from solar. The location is the reason to come — from roughly July to October the crossings are the headline, and the camp is close enough to be on them early.
