Tailor-Made Tanzania Safaris

Wildtouch Tours & Travel is a Nairobi-based, owner-led operator founded by Jacob Munene, and we plan tailor-made Tanzania safaris on the classic northern circuit — the endless Serengeti plains, the wildlife-packed Ngorongoro Crater, baobab-studded Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Each is private and guided, built around your dates and pace rather than sold as a fixed departure.

Our Tanzania safaris run as private, privately guided journeys, and they combine naturally with Kenya — the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara are two halves of the same ecosystem, and the Great Migration moves between them. With one Wildtouch team across both countries, a cross-border trip is a single booking.

What does a Tanzania safari take in?

The northern circuit is the heart of it. The Serengeti is vast and open — superb for big cats and, in season, the migration's calving plains. The Ngorongoro Crater concentrates extraordinary density of wildlife, including rhino, on a single caldera floor. Tarangire is known for its elephants and ancient baobabs, and Lake Manyara for its birdlife and tree-climbing lions.

We currently focus on this northern circuit as a private, tailor-made journey, and pair it cleanly with Kenya for travellers who want both countries. Tell us what you're after and we'll shape the route around it.

Should I fly or drive in Tanzania?

Not every leg needs a flight, but they often improve the trip. The northern circuit's Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara link well by road, while the Serengeti is large enough that a short light-aircraft hop saves long hours in the vehicle. We lay out the road-versus-fly choice honestly, with the cost of each, so the pace suits you.

Questions, answered

Do I need internal flights for a Tanzania safari?
Not always, but they often make the trip better. The northern circuit — Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara — links well by road, while the Serengeti is large enough that a short light-aircraft flight saves long hours. We lay out the road-versus-fly choice honestly, with the cost of each.
Can I combine Tanzania with a Kenya safari?
Yes — it's one of the most natural combinations, since the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara are two halves of the same ecosystem and the migration moves between them. Wildtouch covers both countries with one team, so a Kenya–Tanzania safari is arranged under a single booking.
Is Wildtouch Tours & Travel a good safari company?
Wildtouch Tours & Travel is an owner-led, Nairobi-based operator founded by Jacob Munene, with travellers' reviews on TripAdvisor. Every safari is planned personally with Jacob and run by the same team on the ground, so the trip you book is the trip we run ourselves — there is no sales desk between you and the people in the bush.
Do you offer private, privately guided safaris with your own vehicle and guide?
Yes — every Wildtouch safari is private: an exclusive-use 4×4 with a dedicated guide, on your own schedule, never a fixed group departure. You set the rhythm of each day, from a dawn start to a slow morning in camp.
