High-End Customised Honeymoon Safaris in East Africa

A honeymoon built around two people — private, romantic days in the bush, warm water and white sand to follow, and every touch planned personally with you.

Start planning your honeymoon

Wildtouch Tours & Travel is a Nairobi-based, owner-managed operator led by founder Jacob Munene, and a honeymoon is one of the trips we most love to shape by hand. Our built-and-ready honeymoon journey is in Kenya — private, romantic days in the Maasai Mara paired with the warm water and white sand of Diani Beach — and it is designed for two from the first day to the last.

We plan every romantic touch with you personally: the camp and the beach resort, a hot-air balloon at sunrise, sundowners on the plains, a candlelit dinner under the stars, quiet dhow days on the Indian Ocean. Because we run the trip ourselves, the surprises along the way are ours to arrange rather than something bought in from elsewhere.

For couples who want more of East Africa, we can extend the honeymoon honestly — adding Rwanda's mountain gorillas, or more time on the coast, as options around the Kenyan heart of the trip. We'll only ever propose what we can deliver ourselves.

What makes a good East Africa honeymoon safari?

The best honeymoons hold both wonder and stillness — a few thrilling days of wildlife and shared firsts, then time to do gloriously little. Our Kenya honeymoon does exactly that: private, luxurious days in the Maasai Mara, with a balloon flight, big cats at close range and dinners for two, followed by the Indian Ocean at Diani for warm-water swimming, dhow sailing and rest.

Everything is private throughout — an exclusive-use 4×4 and a dedicated guide on safari, and a beach resort chosen with you — so the rhythm of each day is yours alone. It is a celebration built around two people, not a fixed package with a couples label on it.

Can we honeymoon across more than one country in East Africa?

Honestly, our ready-built honeymoon is Kenya — the Maasai Mara and Diani Beach — and it is the version we can promise in full detail. From that base we can add more of East Africa as options: Rwanda's mountain gorillas make a moving, once-in-a-lifetime addition for couples who want it, and there is scope for more time on the coast.

We'd rather frame that plainly than imply a polished multi-country honeymoon product we don't yet run. Tell us what you're dreaming of and we'll tell you what we can build beautifully today, and what would be an add-on we tailor around the Kenyan core.

When should we go, and is it just for two?

June to October gives prime Maasai Mara wildlife and reliably warm, dry coastal weather; December to March is also lovely, with the coast at its sunniest. The long rains around April and May are best avoided for the beach. The trip is designed for two, with a private guide and 4×4 throughout — and we plan it directly with you, start to finish.

Planning a honeymoon safari

Is the Wildtouch honeymoon safari a single package or customised to us?
It's customised. We have a built-and-ready honeymoon in Kenya — private days in the Maasai Mara paired with Diani Beach — and we tailor every part of it to you: the camp and beach resort, the romantic touches, the pace, and any add-ons. It's designed for two throughout, with a private guide and exclusive-use 4×4 on safari.
Can we combine a Kenya honeymoon with gorillas or extra beach time?
Yes, as options around the Kenyan core. Our built honeymoon is Kenya — the Maasai Mara and Diani Beach — and from there we can add Rwanda's mountain gorillas or more time on the coast. We'll be honest about what is a ready-made trip versus a tailored add-on so you know exactly what you're booking.
When is the best time for an East Africa honeymoon safari?
June to October gives prime Maasai Mara wildlife and warm, dry coastal weather; December to March is also excellent, with the coast at its sunniest. The long rains around April and May are best avoided for the beach. We'll match your wedding dates to the wildlife and weather honestly.
Is Wildtouch Tours & Travel a good safari company?
Wildtouch Tours & Travel is an owner-managed, Nairobi-based operator with travellers' reviews on TripAdvisor. Every safari is planned by the Wildtouch team and run by that same team on the ground, so the trip you book is the trip we run ourselves — there is no sales desk between you and the people in the bush.
Do you offer private, privately guided safaris with your own vehicle and guide?
Yes — every Wildtouch safari is private: an exclusive-use 4×4 with a dedicated guide, on your own schedule, never a fixed group departure. You set the rhythm of each day, from a dawn start to a slow morning in camp.
