Adventures of Kenya — Six Day Safari
A six-day safari pairing Kenya's two signature parks — Amboseli's elephants beneath Kilimanjaro and the big-cat plains of the Maasai Mara — at a brisk, rewarding pace.
About this safari
Short on time, big on wildlife. This six-day safari distils a Kenyan adventure down to its two most iconic stages: Amboseli, where great elephant herds move beneath the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, and the Maasai Mara, Kenya's most celebrated reserve for lion, leopard and cheetah. A scheduled flight between the two keeps the pace comfortable and the driving short, so the days are spent watching wildlife rather than covering ground.
It is an ideal first safari, or a wildlife-rich extension to a longer East African trip. Wildtouch shapes the accommodation tier and the rhythm of the days around you, and the route extends easily — add the coast, more time in the Mara, or onward into Tanzania.

The journey, morning by morning
Arrival, Nairobi
Met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your Nairobi accommodation, with the afternoon at leisure and a safari briefing over dinner.
Nairobi to Amboseli
A morning drive south to Amboseli National Park beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. After lunch, an afternoon game drive across the open plains begins the search for the park's famous elephant herds, with the snow-capped peak rising behind them in the late light.
Amboseli to the Maasai Mara
An early game drive captures the soft light on Kilimanjaro before a scheduled flight (via Nairobi) carries you west to the Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch, with an afternoon game drive on the open plains of Kenya's most celebrated reserve.
Maasai Mara — full day
A full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives and a bush picnic, tracking the reserve's lion prides, cheetah and leopard. An optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari with champagne breakfast is available as an extra.
Maasai Mara and a Maasai visit
A morning game drive followed by a visit to a Maasai manyatta for an insight into the pastoralist culture that has shared this land with its wildlife for generations, then a final afternoon game drive.
Maasai Mara to Nairobi — departure
A final morning game drive before a flight back to Nairobi for your onward connection. Day rooms can be arranged for evening departures; Wildtouch handles the transfers and check-in assistance.

Questions travellers ask
- Is six days long enough for a Kenya safari?
- Six days is enough to experience Kenya's two signature parks well, with two nights in each and a flight between them to keep the pace relaxed. If you have more time, the route extends naturally to the coast, more nights in the Mara, or onward into Tanzania.
- Can this be combined with a beach stay?
- Yes — Kenya's Indian Ocean coast at Diani is a short flight away and pairs beautifully with this safari for a few days of beach at the end. Wildtouch arranges the whole trip under one booking.
