The Wildebeest Migration
The Wildebeest Migration is the most eventful, dramatic natural spectacle last of its kind huge annual movement of Wildebeest accompanied by zebras, gazelles from the plains on Serengeti National Reserve to the wet and green plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey doesn’t go easy, constant battle for survival very evident. The climax of this event is at the Mara River which is the major huddle. The Mara river is a crocodile infested river where the large Nile crocodiles wait for this annual buffet. As if that is not enough, on the other side of the bank in Masai Mara National Reserve, the cats wait for their share. The young and weak migrants fall victim of the hungry predators.
